I'm so thrilled to introduce you to past Create Your Soul Style student, Titilayo Ali. I can't pretend I wasn't honored/touched/moved when she said this, "I have done years of personal development, this is the best transformational program I have ever taken." Goosebumps.
Please enjoy Titilayo's transformation story:
A little bit about Titilayo...
Titilayo Tinubu Ali is on a mission to help women increase their earning potential, expand their career options, and gain the skills to fly solo whenever they want to or need to. She is founder and CEO of Own Your Expertise, a professional development company that teaches women how to turn their 9-to-5 skills into consulting opportunities.
Alongside her career as an attorney and education researcher, she has been an independent consultant serving in a variety of legal, management and communications roles across the nonprofit, corporate, philanthropic and political sectors. Her published writing and research has shaped the development of education systems in the United States, Canada and Ireland and she is a co-author of The Road to High-Quality Early Learning: Lessons from the States. She has managed a seven-county U.S. congressional campaign and has been the brainchild of multi-market media campaigns for nonprofits and social causes that have successfully placed news stories on CNN, NBC, ABC, FOX, and NPR.
Seeking to equip women with the skills she's used to navigate her career, she developed Own Your Expertise, a hybrid business and leadership development program for early- and mid-career professionals. She routinely trains and speaks in college, university and corporate settings on how new and emerging professionals can develop personal brands and take an entrepreneurial approach to designing their careers. She is a certified NxLeveL entrepreneurship instructor trained to coach new business owners through laying the marketing and strategy foundations for their new ventures.
Titilayo earned a law degree from UC Berkeley, a master's degree in sociology and education policy from Columbia University, and a bachelor's degree in English, with honors, from Spelman College. She lives in Colorado with her husband and twin sons.
