Style from the Inside Out

Your journey to style can be soulful and connected.  It can bring you to new heights and experiences with your own body.  Maybe you’ll step on stage in your elegant fit and flare dress, or cozy up fireside in your Uggs with a sherpa robe, sipping on warm cocoa.

We all have a different style and it’s hard to navigate exactly what you need to wear to feel your best. How can you make smart choices when you’re bombarded with millions of commercial deals out there?

Buy THIS for 80% off! OMG, that’s a deal, but in reality it’s a shitty piece of clothing that you’ll only wear once.  The ultimate impulse buy was covering up a true need for rest and restoration.

Finding your soul style isn’t a straight road.  It’s hard to figure it out by yourself. That’s why I love helping women step into their own true sense of comfort and confidence by listening to their body.  Confidence goes beyond the labels you wear. Clothes are a tool to help you feel as good as you look.

Recently I was chosen to be the COVER WOMAN of Maine Women Magazine. Yes, that’s how I got the text. More like this…

It was a moment for me.  Completely unexpected. I had a casual conversation with the creative director. She said she’d pitch me. At that time, I was honored by the idea, but didn’t attach too much to the outcome.  I was thrilled to just have my work featured in the magazine.

I sat at my friend’s restaurant, with my new friends in Ibiza, and we soaked up the good news. The four of us, a modern mix of worlds coming together to celebrate life.

For me, being featured in a women’s magazine was a celebration.  Have a look at the story in Maine Women Magazine.

Take a moment. Acknowledge if you’ve celebrated your work.  Have you honored the hours of blood, sweat, and tears that you’ve put into your creation?

If not, I highly recommend you take a moment to decide how you want to celebrate YOU.

XO,

Carrie
