How to Multiply Your Outfits

Being able to dress well and wear the same pieces for different purposes is the best part of building a wardrobe that works for you.

Today I want to share a video that shows you how easy it can be to multiply outfits without breaking the bank. But before we get into that let’s talk about taking care of our body and soul in the process.

Before you get dressed take a moment to check in with your body.

Ask yourself how you are feeling and how you want to feel. If you want to feel motivated and sexy but woke up feeling lethargic and a bit grumpy, make a clear choice on what feelings you want to enhance, support, release, and protect.

Sometimes it's good to step out of your comfort zone and to let the feeling of the fabric lead the way. You’ll be able to sense what feels good and what feels off. If you are comfortable, wear it and own it but if it is really not comfortable don’t wear it out of the house.

I am sure you can remember some point in your life where you wore something you really loved but it was so uncomfortable that it kinda ruined the event you were attending or it was just a bit harder to have a great time. Let’s promise to put this in the past because style and comfort can be intermixed.

Ok, let’s talk style!

When you are getting ready to revamp your wardrobe, find your inspiration first.

In the video, my inspiration was a beautiful choker necklace that had rose colored beads running down the front of it. I loved it's exotic and bohemian style and knew that I wanted to look for pieces with the same vibe.

By the time I went shopping for my client I already knew the textures and tones I was seeking so this made shopping a breeze.

For this session, I choose to purchase:

  • 2 full standing outfits: 1 black romper and 1 rose jumpsuit.

  • 2 jackets: 1 structured safari jacket and 1 bohemian, flowy and feminine wrap.

  • 2 spaghetti strap blouses with lace detail: 1 black and 1 rose.

  • 1 long silver textured skirt

Watch the video to see how I used these 7 items to make 13 stylish outfits

I would love to hear from you.  Share your outfit struggles with me!
