Harness Your Energy

Here’s the first step into building a comprehensive, rebellious lifestyle.

You don’t have to listen to me, but maybe take some tips from 20 years of research.  The goal here is to create space for clearing and releasing, to get you into your most wise, wild, and well space.

  • Are you looking for freedom from the struggle?

  • Do you have illnesses that feel like obstacles in your life progression?

Forget everything you’ve ever been told, or have told yourself about health and wellness. There’s so much information and well-meaning incorrect guidance out there that it can be a total head spin. I want to invite you to hone in on three key areas of your life, where lending even small amounts of attention can return in huge gains for your ability to thrive.

The matrix of health is unifying the body, mind, and spirit.  Here is how you get the body on track.

By having our physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing in alignment, we have the ability to accomplish great things in life.  We can overcome chronic illness, increase our income, welcome in a new relationship, or go deeper with one that we already have.

When there are distractions and obstacles, like ailments such as IBS, Diabetes, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue or autoimmune diseases that are ever increasing in todays society, extra energy is put into simply maintaining our physicality.  Knowing that self-care is paramount, it becomes even more important to make it an integral part of our days so we can use our energy efficiently.

In all the things our bodies need in the healing and caring process there are 3 top priorities, these cover the energetic bases of Body/Mind/Spirit. They are:

  1. Food
  2. Body Care
  3. Environment

First, you are what you eat.  Consuming a clean, lean, green and toxin-free diet has proven to be paramount.  Here is a great resource for checking out what food is clean.  Environmental Working Group But, we are all different, so there is a process of discovery to find out what works or does not work for ourselves.

Have you ever detoxed?

(Stay tuned we will do one soon! I’m going to make sure you’re prepped and ready for both forthcoming indulgent holidays!)

Our second physical need is movement.  Bodies desire to be used, injuries aside, and we all must engage with our bodies as a tool.  Our bodies are vehicles that love to do pleasing activities to keep us in high vibration.  Our bodies love to be challenged, and to keep our muscles working and supporting us.

Take it from someone who has lost the ability to move time and again.  Things start to get weak.  Consistent movement is ten times better than the start and stop. No matter how impossible it may feel, or how much you do not want to do it.  As NIKE says, “Just do it!”

Even if it is a little private dancing in your own home!

Thirdly, environment is beyond important.  Energy is held and expressed in space.  My mother is an incredible interior designer, and I have learned the value of creating beautiful space from her.  The way we lay out the design of our home; from the colors we choose to the texture of fabrics, all have an effect on our wellbeing.  Also, keeping our environments clean of chemicals and toxins is super important.  Check out this resource that gives you all the tips on keeping it clean.  Environmental Working Group

Miraculous transformations in people’s wellbeing have been made through subtle shifts of furniture, clearing clutter, or making large moves from a city to the county (or vice versa).

Harnessing your energy takes foundational awareness of your mental space.  Mostly, I see stress management as a key mental trigger.  Our brain and belly are constantly in conversation to make chemicals to keep us in balance.  When worrisome thoughts get caught up inside our brain, there’s actually an inflammatory process that happens, things like a cortisol spike at the wrong time of night (3am) wake us up. This erratic pattern eventually wears us down.

Increased cortisol can cause sleep loss, weight gain, pain and a whole host of other health problems.  Ultimately stress plays a key role in our energetic wellbeing.

What is keeping you up at night?

Create time for self-care. This is a non-negotiable, start by setting the intention and actually putting it in your calendar. Being able to carve out time for your body, mind, and spirit pays you back in spades.

Without your whole health, where would you be? What are you obstacles?
